Restigouche River Experience Centre

We were busy this summer, working on a number of projects, including the Restigouche River Experience Centre, in Campbellton, New Brunswick. This multi-purpose restaurant, museum, meeting space is situated right on the river (adjacent to the bridge to Quebec), and will be a great resource for the fine folks of Restigouche County, NB.
Our work included the massive wrap-around timber porch, as well as six heavy timber trusses (note steel plates and bolts). because of a schedule change, we had to install the trusses from underneath the existing roof (see those handy Genie lifts) – we normally use a crane to fly them up and into place.
We still have some finishing work to do, but we’re waiting for the project to become weather-tight before returning to this beautiful part of the Maritimes.
