This unique design was a combination renovation/addition project – an existing 40 year old ranch bungalow had a second floor added (along with a timber roof system) and tacked on a full, structural timber frame for a comfortable living/dining addition on the waterside. The tight, dark original plan has been great expanded, and now the home features expansive views from every room (except the baths). the open-concept kitchen, dining and living allow sunlight to flood in and bathe the home in warmth.
The ground-floor master suite has direct access to the outdoors, and sports all the features that anyone would need in one compact, but complete package. The upper floor is dedicated to an open sleeping loft and an ensuite bath – numerous plan layouts are available for this area.
The wrap-around deck allows for entertaining throughout the day, and privacy from neighbors when needed. The walk-out basement offers numerous possibilities for guest accommodations, storage and workshop space – numerous entrances allow for easy coming and going of guests and workshop materials alike.
