Timber Frame Cottage in Weymouth
We’ve recently completed the assembly and erection of a beautiful new timber frame for a cottage in Weymouth, Nova Scotia. The frame measures 26’x34′, and has a gable dormer upstairs, on the south side. The entire upper floor area is used – there is no open cathedral space on the ground floor in this compact design.
As you can see, the weather was perfect, and the local general contractor (Gerald Robinson) treated the crew to a feast of local lobster! You have got to love the improvised dining table – a scaffold plank!
