Whitepoint Completed

Whitepoint Resort Lodge is due to open its doors for Nova Scotia Music Week sometime in the next few hours!  We completed our portion of the work on Sunday, and as you can see, the place looks amazing!

These photos were taken at sunrise on Tuesday (November 6) – the sun was cresting over some low clouds on the horizon, exactly as I walked out onto the waterside patio – I simply could not have timed it any better.  I have plenty more photos to show (including some interior shots),  but for now, check out these shots of the exterior timber work.

I must say that working with the crew at J.W. Lindsay and the staff at WHW Architects was smooth and professional.  The owner must be thrilled with the completed project – all of the furnishings and special touches  really make this place feel warm and truly inviting.  The “Grand Opening” is scheduled for Monday (November 12), and kicks off with a media event (sorry, but it is by invitation only).  I would strongly suggest you book a stay at Whitepoint, not only to see our fabulous timber work, but to see this amazing spot for yourself – you owe it to yourself to experience sunrise on the waterside patio!

In the meantime, let us know what you think of our work and the rest of the craftsmanship at Whitepoint – we’d love to hear what you think.
